Oceanside view of the palace which recently reopened as a museum after repairs for earthquake damage suffered a few years ago. The museum inside was nice with some interesting displays, even if the matrons were a bit overbearing and their 'no photography' inside the building was excessive. Beautiful examples of traditional (for western-influnced royals) furniture and wardrobe items were on display, as well as a small exhibit of 18th and 19th century tools and weapons.
