Kona Vacation - June 2010

The girls were paddling out just fine on their own when the boys on the dock dove in to join them.  All four of them were on the board together for a while, but eventually the boys got kicked aside and swam back in and the girls continued paddling out to sea.  We watched this play out while sitting on the Kona Pier on our last afternoon in town, and it just reinforced everything we'd been thinking about the fearless youth and both their confidence around the water and respect for it.
