Notice the training lifeguard in the water gets to wear his wetsuit, while his trainees are getting more practical experience with low water temperatures. This exercise by the Laguna Beach lifeguards was taking place around 8:00 am on a Saturday morning. While there were good size crowds giving the lifeguards a wide berth, some people are just too oblivious or self-involved to stay out of the way.
